Niceville native and golf standout Lauren Miller is the All Sports Association Female Collegiate award winner. Following a stellar career at Niceville High School, including being named the Female Golfer of the Year for four years in a row by the Northwest Florida Daily News, Miller joined the Mississippi State Bulldogs in 2019.
Her golf skills were quickly recognized, and coupled with her superb academic talents, she was named to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll and as a Women’s Golf Coach Association (WGCA) Academic All-American in 2019. She was also selected for the SEC Academic Honor Roll and named a WGCA All-American in 2020. After completing her undergraduate Sport Administration degree in 2.5 years, she transferred to Southern Methodist University for her senior year of golf and to complete her Master’s degree in Sports Administration.
Miller has finished in the top-20 four times in her college career and has twice been named the “Coaches Award” recipient for being a standout player, teammate, and leader. Her team won the 2020 Westbrook Invitational Championship in Peoria, Arizona. Lauren has also qualified for and competed in the 2021 U.S. Women’s Amateur tournament at Westchester Country Club in New York and the 2022 U.S. Women’s Open at Pine Needles Golf in North Carolina.
