Cade Kootsouradis 2020 Male Scholastic Award

Award: Male Scholastic

Award Year: 2020

Organization: Crewsview High School

Winner Sport: Football/Baseball

Crestview High School senior Cade Kootsouradis is a dual-sport athlete, a four-year letterman in both football and baseball. At the beginning of football season, Cade was one of the “Dandy Dozen” athletes selected for recognition by the Northwest Florida Daily News.

Cade’s fine play on the field last fall resulted in seven Division 1 football scholarship offers, from Georgia Tech, Southern Miss, South Alabama, Cornell, Columbia, Marshall and Middle Tennessee State. Cade selected Georgia Tech — he was the eighth commitment in Georgia Tech’s 2020 signing class. At 6-foot 4-inches and 285 pounds, Cade expects to play offensive tackle for the Yellow Jackets.

Georgia Tech is a top tier academic school, and Cade has the academic chops to excel. He is currently ranked number two in his senior class of 469 students, and he was inducted into the National Honor Society. Cade’s combination of athletic and academic achievements led to his selection as the High School Heisman winner for Crestview High School.

Cade sees in Georgia Tech a program on the rise under first-year head coach Geoff Collins – Cade is part of a top 25 recruiting class. “I really think we’re on the up and coming,” Kootsouradis said. Coach Collins is the real deal. He knows what he’s doing and he’s going to lead Georgia Tech to the top.”
