The All Sports Association is proud to announce that Jordan Leggett is the 2016 Male Collegiate Award Winner. Leggett was a finalist for the John Mackey Award this year, the honor given to the top tight end in college football. He was a second-team All-American according to the Walter Camp Foundation and a first-team All-ACC selection. Clemson finished the season with a 14-1 record, an ACC Championship and a number two final national ranking, the second highest final ranking in school history.
Leggett led this team in touchdown receptions with eight, a total that tied the school record. He finished with 40 receptions for 525 yards and next year will challenge all the Clemson career records for a tight end. His season included a 101-yard receiving performance in Clemson’s important win over Florida State, just the fourth 100-yard receiving game for a tight end in Clemson history, and a 78-yard performance on five catches in the national championship game against Alabama.
