“Sherman grew up in Fort Walton Beach and graduated from Choctawhatchee High School.  He participated in numerous sports and was awarded a football scholarship to Auburn University.  Sherman played football at Auburn for four years and was blessed to be a team member of the 1972 Amazins.   His years at Choctaw and Auburn taught Sherman the importance of being a team player, and he has carried that lesson throughout his professional career and his life.  Sherman is a long term member of the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors, the Auburn Football Lettermen Club, and the All Sports Association. He’s coached little league teams, mentored countless high school and college-bound athletes and has been a past fundraiser and volunteer for All Sports Association, Emerald Coast Auburn Club, Rotary Club, Pryor Middle School Athletic Department, Choctawhatchee High School (CHS) Track & Field, CHS Basketball Team, CHS Cheerleaders, Fort Walton Beach High School Football Team, Save the Manatee, Save the Sea Turtle,  and many churches including St. Mary Catholic, Westminster Presbyterian, St. Simon’s on The Sound Episcopal, Cinco Baptist, Shalimar Methodist, and Fort Walton Beach Methodist.  He’s always the first to volunteer–firing up his smoker and barbequing his butts and ribs–for any good cause.  He has spent years sharing good food, love, laughter and hope wherever he goes.  Sherman has always been “all in” for our community. Now is the time for our community to be “all in” for him”

Sherman IS Sherman—and the world is a better, brighter place with him in it. I hope you’ll help us keep it that way.  Your support and your prayers can make it happen.
