Titus Thornell, a Choctaw High School senior, is the recipient of the All Sports Scholastic Award. Titus is an outstanding student athlete who excelled during his high school career. He has proven himself to be an extraordinary student through his hard work and dedication, as demonstrated by his impressive 4.34 grade point average.
Titus lettered in three varsity sports: football, weightlifting, and wrestling. His passion for each sport is evident in his commitment to training and his impressive performance. He finished 4th in the State in weightlifting in the Olympic Division.
Other awards Titus received include the Ironman Award for the Choctaw Football Team and the Coaches Award for weightlifting.
Titus also volunteers as a coach for the Girls’ weightlifting team, and he volunteers at Beachside Community Church, serving preschool and elementary school students. It is truly remarkable to see someone excel in both academics and athletics, and it is no surprise that Titus has received such high recognition for his achievements. He truly embodies the essence of being a wellrounded individual.
