Sophia Broutin – 2025 Female Scholastic Award Winner

Female Scholastic Sophie Broutin

Sophia Broutin, a senior at Niceville High School,
is the All Sports female scholastic award winner for 2025. Sophie grew up playing soccer, but started playing volleyball in middle school.
Her athletic honors include Northwest Florida Daily News Athlete of the Week for volleyball, Volleyball MVP and Most Valuable Offensive
Player of the Year.

She earned bids to Nationals in both Beach Volleyball and Indoor Volleyball, and traveled to
Indianapolis and Fort Lauderdale to participate in both events. Sophia is active in her school beyond athletics. Her honors include Key Club Secretary (junior year), Key Club President (senior year), Student Government
Secretary, and Vice President of Science National Honor Society. She is also active in community service, including beach cleanups, assembling Halloween candy bags for special needs children, and preparing cards and bookmarks for the elderly and for elementary students.

As President of Key Club, she organizes monthly drives for specific service projects, such as food drives for Caring and Sharing.

Sophia is an outstanding student, with no grade less than “A” in all her high school courses. She is the recipient of the AP Scholar Award and the Anne T. Mitchell Award. Sophia likes to cook Italian food and to bake. She plans to attend college after high school graduation, and to eventually work in the medical field.
