Liliana Fernandez – 2024 Female Collegiate Award Winner

The All Sports Association is honored to name Liliana Fernandez as the Female Collegiate Award winner. The Tulsa University Hurricane senior is a four-year letter winner and has started in 56 of 60 games played. She has five goals and seven assists for 17 points to her credit. She is also returning for a fifth season as the NCAA granted student-athletes an extra year of eligibility due to the coronavirus pandemic.

 

Prior to attending Tulsa, the Niceville High School star was a four-year letter winner, helping Niceville post 74 wins and leading the Eagles to a Florida Class 4A State runner-up as a freshman and regional finalist as a sophomore, junior, and senior. She helped the Eagles win four straight regional championships. She also played club soccer for the Sunrise Sting and helped them claim the 2018 State, Regional, and National Championships.

 

This phenomenal student athlete was named to the 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team and she was named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District First Team as a senior. She earned her bachelor’s degree in management and is working on her marketing degree.

 

Garrison is diligent in the classroom, with a 4.56 weighted GPA. One of Garrison’s teachers said, “You could not ask for a better student. Garrison arrived on time every morning, awake and attentive for Economics at 7am.”

 

Liliana said, “I am truly honored to receive this award, and I want to express my gratitude for the
unwavering support from my team, my coaches, our community, and my family. This recognition fuels my passion for the sport, and I’m excited to continue pushing boundaries and achieving new heights in the future.”
