After Tournament Update- The tournament and raffle were huge successes. See photos from the event here and a write up by the Daily News shared here.
It’s that time of year again. Each year All Sports Association holds a Summer Golf Tournament as one of its two major annual fundraiser events. Funds raised at this event help fund requests made to the organization throughout the year. Last year’s tournament raised over $10,000 which was returned to the community through support of the Eagle Ram Tennis Center.
Once again the tournament will be held at Rocky Bayou Country Club in Niceville. Lunch prior to tournament start will be provided by Dockside and after tournament food and refreshments provided by Helen Back Pizza. There will be door prizes and a silent auction will be held inside the clubhouse dinning room after the tournament.
This year All Sports Association has added another piece to their fundraising efforts; a car raffle. All Sports is raffling a 2013 Mini Cooper and the proceeds from the raffle will go directly to twelve area high school Athletic Departments. All Sports member and Sports Information Director Chairman Bernard Johnson said “We are excited to be able to present the donation check to local school representatives, athletic directors and coaches at the event”. Each department will receive $2,000 to use as they see fit. The winner for the car will be drawn at the Mid-Year Summer Golf Tournament.
