It is my honor to serve as President of the All Sports Association for 2007-2008. For the past 38 years, the All Sports Association has gathered the finest athletes in northwest Florida to honor them. Each February, at the annual awards dinner, we salute the area’s top high school, collegiate, amateur, professional, Special Olympics, and individual athletes who have fostered youth activities.
The All Sports Association of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, is an organization comprised of dues-paying volunteers who contribute their time to raise money for the primary mission: to support local youth-oriented non-profit organizations, with an emphasis on sports programs. Through the efforts of the All Sports Association’s annual banquet and summer golf tournament, the group funds numerous worthwhile sports organizations and charitable causes. The original and still primary beneficiaries of the All Sports Association are the local YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, and Special Olympics.
The All Sports Association is also proud to present the The Wuerffel Trophy to the college football player who best combines exemplary community service with athletic and academic achievement. See www.wuerffeltrophy.org for more information.
